Brunswick is seeking a Vice President of Marketing and Division CMO for the Company's Business Acceleration business unit, a division most focused on incubating and growing consumer direct brands. Three key elements of this critical leadership role are: Accelerating the growth of the consumer business through both direct digital sales & sales enablement across a network of franchise partners. Building and leading an integrated marketing function encompassing both the B2B side of the business as well as the fast-growing D2C side. Championing a customer-centric culture, team & attitude infused with digital and retail (or local) agility. This is an exciting opportunity to accelerate growth and build a direct-to-consumer business for an industry leading brand and business operating off an already strong revenue foundation, backed by Brunswick, the industry's dominant player in recreational marine. The role will be based in Mettawa, IL (company HQ) and is expected to invest time in market to foster relationships with Business Acceleration's executive team, franchisee partners and territory GMs. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Drive customer acquisition initiatives across multiple channels, including digital marketing, partnerships, and sales, to achieve growth objectives. Curate and manage the lead funnel across all businesses; influence business plans and direct investment to generate the highest returns. Establish and evolve brands to reflect a differentiated position in the marketplace. Specifically, lead a re-branding effort for Freedom Boat Club. Deploy digital capabilities and tools to ensure a healthy lead pipeline, increase share of wallet by providing more customer value and deeper brand engagement. Drive digital transformation in partnership with division digital marketing function department to deliver on contemporary brand experiences that are measurable and garner consumer insights depth. Drive global brand building for portfolio to protect leadership positions and position brands & services to meet the changing needs of consumers. Support a broader division objective of transforming the boating experience, through deep consumer knowledge, contemporary marketing techniques and general business strategy. Partner to identify points of intersection and enhancing collaboration across the Enterprise. Leverage and build talent, tools and internal practices across the division to multiply the capability of the function. Work collaboratively with Brunswick corporate team to refine and optimize ongoing marketing operating and collaboration model. Develop and mentor a high-performing marketing team that understands and embodies Company cultural priorities. Basic Qualifications/Job Specifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business, MBA preferred. 10+ years marketing/management and leadership experience with a consumer product driven company. Deep understanding of digital marketing, customer acquisition strategies, and emerging trends in technology and consumer behavior. Deep understanding of sales strategies, marketing techniques, and market trends. Experience building & leading an integrated marketing function encompassing both the B2B side of the business as well as the fast-growing D2C side. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable growth strategies. Thrives in a highly dynamic & transformative environment. Ability to collaborate effectively in a highly matrix environment. Demonstrated passion for improving (transforming) consumer experience. Ability to persuasively present ideas to colleagues and senior management. Global marketing experience strongly preferred.
