As a Software Engineer on our team, you will support a project that delivers forensics data, analytics, and software development expertise to the Intelligence Community.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop software for specific applications to process forensic data using C#, C++, and PythonPerform applied research and development to analyze, design, and identify desired programmatic behaviorsContribute to the enhancement of current software; adding new features to a current platformDevelop new software solutions based on team tasking directly from customer requestsEvaluate and analyze complex and malicious code using forensics tools, including disassemblers, debuggers, hex editors, un-packers, virtual machines, and network sniffersLeverage your own creative license to solve technical challengesReverse engineer software applications to identify and understand significant forensic artifactsTake ownership of your area of responsibility and increase capabilities that push the mission forwardRequired Qualifications:4+ years' experience with coding in C#, Python, or C++4+ years' experience with digital forensics or reverse engineeringBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related technical field from an accredited college or university. 4 additional years of related experience can be substituted for degreeKnowledge of at least one disassembler tool such as IDA, Ghidra or Binary NinjaAbility to demonstrate effective organizational, verbal and written communication, and critical thinking skillsAbility to lead or mentor less experienced staff through tradecraftAbility to leverage creativity to provide solutions to complex problemsActive/Current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearancePreferred Qualifications:Experience with development in large code baseExperience with in-depth, cutting-edge digital forensics workExperience as a .NET developerExperience with using the Atlassian Product Suite (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, etc.)Experience with developing in C# on LinuxExperience with Visual Studio on WindowsKnowledge of static and dynamic analysis tools such as X-Ways, FTK Imager, WinHex, Windbg, x64dbg or othersSecurity Clearance Requirements:Active/Current TS/SCI with PolygraphPhysical Requirements:Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, and office machinery.For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
