The Director will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, particularly within a manufacturing context.Key ResponsibilitiesManage cash flow by tracking transactions and conducting regular reviews of internal financial reports.Oversee the general ledger accounting process to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.Utilize ERP software for comprehensive financial analysis and reporting.Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with public accounting standards.Apply advanced financial concepts to support strategic decision-making.Ensure adherence to all regulatory reporting requirements.Provide expertise in technical accounting matters, including GAAP and SOX compliance.Supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to guarantee timely collections and accurate reporting.Develop and monitor budgets aligned with the organization's financial objectives.Implement and maintain SOX compliance procedures to safeguard financial integrity.QualificationsA minimum of 5 years of direct experience in a financial leadership role, such as Controller or similar, within a manufacturing environment.In-depth knowledge of financial principles and practices, with a strong focus on cost control processes, including cost accounting and standard costing systems.Proficiency in accounting software for effective financial management and reporting.Familiarity with public accounting standards and practices.Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.Ability to manage regulatory reporting accurately and efficiently.Solid understanding of budgeting processes and financial forecasting.Experience in leading financial teams, promoting collaboration and performance excellence.Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems to facilitate data analysis and reporting.Why Join Us?This role presents a unique opportunity to thrive in a collaborative work environment that values your expertise and promotes professional growth.
