Employee Experience modernizes the Nordstrom Employee Experience through technology and enables financial tools that inform our company's strategic objectives.In Finance Technology, our long-term plan is focused on modernization of our legacy finance systems, as well as Marketplace and Oracle Cloud Financials, to support forward-looking growth. What does this mean for you?You support internal business customers with a laser focus on improving business effectiveness.You are accountable for the applications and financial systems used to manage a multi-billion-dollar customer focused fashion retailer.You will lead teams of engineers and program managers responsible for supporting both vendor integrated systems and modern application development.You have experience leading SaaS and custom financial applications.A day in the life...Full leadership responsibility for all teams under FinTech, inclusive of Accounting, Finance Platform, Treasury, and Transactions teams.Drives organizational structures and talent management plans to meet needs of organization.Identifies and develops leaders, builds teams.Has ownership and accountability over creating new systems and evolving existing systems.Drives architectural decisions for function and enterprise.Partner with business leaders to provide technical advice and influence strategic decision making; collect requirements, map to implementation and select the right technology.You own this if you have...10+ years of relevant work experience in Software Development.5+ years of cloud experience, preferably AWS or GCP.5+ years of experience in enterprise team leadership in dynamic, high-scale environments.5+ years and excellent proficiency in vendor integration and tools support, specifically ERP.5+ years leading and developing teams.Experience with integrations to cloud ERP solutions and managing cloud ERP technical costs.A proven track record of individual excellence and a demonstrated commitment to making others great. You are intimately familiar with modern software development practices, and prioritize collaboration in addition to process to drive outcomes.Strong customer and stakeholder empathy. You must be not only the voice of the customer. You must be able to channel many points of view, synthesize them and drive alignment even in times of friction and disagreement.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Pay ranges may be different in other locations. Washington: $200,500-$332,000 annually. This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
