Candidates should take the time to read all the elements of this job advert carefully Please make your application promptly.F&G is looking to hire for a Director, Solutions Delivery - InvestmentsThe Director, Solutions Delivery will lead our IT group in support of F&G's Investment-related teams. This role will be responsible for a cross-functional agile team supporting the platforms and applications across Investments, Investment Accounting, Investment Risk, and Investment Data & Analytics. This team supports various IT capabilities including custom software development, data integrations, and third-party configuration and customization.Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the development, maintenance, support, scalability, and performance of applications associated with Investment Strategy and Investment AccountingManage day-to-day relationships with Investment Strategy and Investment Accounting vendorsOwn the escalation for all technology issues related to the delivery of Investment Strategy and Investment Accounting applicationsResponsible for the Investments Technical Architecture and the technical automation capabilities for the BUEngage with Investments BU to understand the roadmaps, and translate them into technology initiatives and solutionsPartner with Chief of Staff, Architecture, and Engineering to ensure Investment Strategy and Investment Accounting technology initiatives align with enterprise strategyLead internal and external development teams (e.g., PMs, Software Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Analysts) to deliver servicesOversee solutions delivery efforts, including estimating design, development, and support needs, providing input to capability planning, and ensuring solutions adhere to quality assurance standardsGain understanding of industry trends, tools, and practices, communicates to leadership for directionManage vendor relationships to ensure contract terms, SLA and performance agreements are met and changes/enhancements/bugs are managed appropriatelyDevelop RFPs and review proposals to determine buy vs. build solution. Negotiate contracts with SLAs, performance agreements and incentives/penaltiesEnsure projects are delivered on time, on budget with quality results that meet the business need.Ensure that all solutions meet F&G security and compliance guidelines and align with disaster recovery guidelinesRetire legacy systems and solutionsDefine and assess all roadmaps, architectures, frameworks and risks associated with each, and manage risk and compliance to minimize exposureEstimate resources for all engagements and design, manage and oversee all project teams including internal staff as well as external business partners and third-party vendorsExperience and Education RequirementsS. or B.A. required, advanced degree preferred8+ years of Information Technology leadership in applications architecture and development/programming5+ years experience managing outsource vendors, COTS and internal staff3+ years experience managing cross-functional development teamExperience designing, developing, implementing and monitoring adherence to policy, process, procedures and standardsTechnical financial and contract management experienceBusiness Process Re-Engineering, Six Sigma or Lean a plusSkills and AbilitiesDemonstrated experience leading teams in the Life and Annuity Insurance or Investments marketsKnowledge of Investments and Investment Accounting processing needs and automation trendsStrong/current technical proficiency with applications architecture, frameworks and enterprise solutions deliveryStrong/Current architecture and implementation experience preferredStrong agile and project management experience, certification a plusKnowledge of Financial Services industry a plusAptitude to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneouslyAbility to effectively lead teams, coordinate team activities, and mobilize workforceDemonstrated understanding of financial statements, metrics and reportingSignificant expertise in testing principles, disciplines, tools and environmentsParticipated in IT strategic planning and architectural design; established policies and standardsStrong networking and relationship-building across the organization and with service providers and COTS vendorsCurrent knowledge of solution and information security, compliance and disaster recovery principles.Business/commercially-focused and results orientedStrong fiscal focus including budgets, ROI and Cost Benefit AnalysisConsultative and client-oriented, a creative problem solver with a collaborative natureExecutive Leadership; ability to influence/negotiate with peers and vendorsExcellent agile and project management skills, PMI certification a plusProfessional, decisive with integrity and high ethical standardsOther RequirementsPerform other functions, duties and projects as assignedRegular and punctual attendanceMinimal travel required (less than 10%)#J-18808-Ljbffr
