Our ideal candidates embrace diverse thinking, enjoy partnering with others and are seeking to make a difference!Position responsibilities:Responsible for planning, directing, scheduling, and reporting the timely and successful accomplishment of the cybersecurity program tasks.Ensures all contractual deliverables are submitted on-time and meet quality standards.Manage, mentor, and lead all Contractor employees to include assigning workload.Act as a single point of contact for the Government Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs).Perform project management tasks (project plans, timelines, cost estimates, resource requirements, etc.) using Government approved project tracking tools.Disclaimer: The responsibilities and duties outlined in this job description are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this role. However, they are not exhaustive and may be subject to change or modification at any time to meet the evolving needs of the organization.Minimum requirements:Minimum of ten (10) years of Cybersecurity experience.Minimum of five (5) years of program management experience.Work 100% on-site in Adelphi, MD.Top Secret Clearance Requirement.Must have demonstrated communication skills with all levels of management.Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities.Experience leading cybersecurity teams.Experience providing cybersecurity services including Assessment and Authorization (A&A), Incident Response, Vulnerability Management and Vulnerability Scanning (ACAS), Host Based Security System (HBSS) Administration, Log Analysis, STIG Compliance Oversight and Validation.Must have a minimum of 1 of the Following IAM Level II Certifications:CAPCASP+ CECISMCISSP (or Associate)GSLCCCISOHCISPPPreferred qualifications:PMP certification.CISSP or other cybersecurity certifications.Experience in supporting Army and Department of Defense (DoD) research environments and cybersecurity policies.Experience in supporting classified networks and systems.Experienced identifying and driving improvements to cybersecurity programs including tools and processes.Experience leading Assessment and Authorization (A&A) lifecycle events for networks and systems.Experience performing risk assessments of new enterprise IT projects for Government consideration during project planning.Location: Adelphi, MarylandApplicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
