OverviewAs a vCIO, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic IT direction for their clients. You will collaborate with clients to understand business objectives, assess existing IT infrastructure, and formulate solutions aligned with their organizational goals. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with clients ranging from 20 to 500+ employees in various industries. The vCIO will work closely with the security, technology, and project teams to ensure that clients' technology and support needs are met with the excellent customer service and technological acumen that are at the core of our mission statement. The vCIO brings excellent communication and relationship building with clients to promote recommended technology changes and improvements, retain clients, mine internal sales opportunities and obtain referrals.Your work as a vCIO has several components:Strategic IT Planning Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and challengesFormulate comprehensive IT strategies to address client needs and enhance organizational efficiencyPrepare customized proposals to present to clientsTechnology AssessmentsConduct thorough assessments of clients' current IT infrastructure and systemsIdentify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to optimize technology investmentsRisk Management:Assess cybersecurity risks and implement measures to enhance data securityStay abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure complianceInterface with our vCISO to ensure standardization of our security offeringsVendor Management:Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors to ensure they delivery of high-quality servicesNegotiate contracts and agreements to maximize value for clientsBudgeting and Resource Allocation:Work closely with clients to develop and manage IT budgetsAllocate resources efficiently to support technology initiatives and projectsProject Management:Oversee the implementation of IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standardsProvide guidance to project teams and ensure effective communication with clientsClient Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key clientsAct as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance on technology-related mattersPrepare and present quarterly business reviews (QBRs) for select clients.Track our recommendations as opportunities, present proposals, and ensure clients are aware of risks associated with delaying implementations.Our ideal vCIO has the following qualifications:o Proven experience as a vCIO or similar role at an MSP or IT consulting company Experience in leading technology teams o In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies o Proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing server infrastructureso Knowledge of various server platforms (e.g., Windows Server, Azure Cloud) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) o Proficiency in designing and managing network infrastructures o Understanding of routing, switching, firewalls, and other network security componentso Expertise in cloud migration strategies and managing hybrid cloud environments o Expertise with Microsoft 365, Azure cloud services o Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management o Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrentlyo Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactionso Familiarity with financial services and/or legal services is a pluso Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ITIL is a plusIf this opportunity sounds like a fit for you, let's have a conversation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
