DescriptionExperience, qualification, and soft skills, have you got everything required to succeed in this opportunity Find out below.Hybrid Preferred (NYC or Waltham, MA)Remote Considered (East Coast US Preferred)We are seeking a full stack Software Engineer II to join our development team and implement the technologies needed to enable robust enterprise applications for the life sciences industry. The ideal candidate is a highly technical, hands-on developer with a passion for new technologies and a willingness to take ownership of their work product and timelines, including learning about new technologies such as Generative AI (GenAI).Trinity's product development efforts are focused on creating transformative products that address our life sciences clients' most challenging problems in the commercialization of novel therapeutics. Engineers work with Product Strategy, designers, and Data Science to build and optimize technology products for the biopharmaceutical and medical device space. In doing so we tap into Trinity's deep knowledge of the industry, built through client relationships across the advisory, insights, and analytics aspects of the organization's business.This Software Engineer II will focus on building scalable life sciences software with the potential to transform areas of Trinity's business, primarily related to the areas of Insights and Medical Affairs. This individual will receive mentorship from senior engineers and technology leaders in their work.Position ResponsibilitiesBuild, release, and iterate on new products/features that meet user requirements:Take ownership in building and refining the technology product, demonstrating self-sufficiency in scoping features based on business requirements and managing timelines.Lead individual full stack technical development and influence architectural design efforts.Build a strong quality assurance practice that includes manual and automated testing.Nice-to-have: Experience in Generative AI, LLMs, machine learning, and related technologies.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.Work Experience: 3-5 years of software engineering experience.Other Qualifications:A track record of success in developing, launching, and scaling software applications.Full stack development experience.Expertise in the following: JavaScript (React-Redux), Node.js, CSS, and Database design (including PostgreSQL).Agile development experience or equivalent in fast-paced team environments.Passion for emerging technologies, database architecture, and knowledge of engineering best practices.Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills; Ability to build credibility with cross-functional teams through clear and detailed communication of technical concepts.Team player who is committed to team success and is willing to help fill gaps that arise.About Trinity Life SciencesWith 25+ years of expertise, a best-in-the-business team and unrivaled access to data and analytics, Trinity Life Sciences is a modern partner to companies in the life sciences industry.
