Together, we can connect and defend millions of individuals throughout the world for our customers.To join our exceptional cyber security team in Atlanta, Georgia, we are now looking for a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer.Position Overview:In this role, the Cybersecurity Systems Engineer (SE) architect's system security requirements and the security layout/architecture to facilitate design, collaborating with engineers across disciplines throughout development. Additionally, the Cyber SE determines required security tools and functionality necessary to support requirements. The Cyber SE team is responsible for the security governance, risk management, and compliance of a system while it is being engineered for our customers.Responsibilities of this position will include but not be limited to the following:Work within the Cybersecurity Engineering Group to provide technical decisions and guidance to enable timely, high quality product deliveries and flight test events that meet mission requirementsPartner and collaborate with other program systems engineers across Integrated Product Teams to accomplish program requirements and meet mission objectivesAs a member of a team of specialized NGMS cybersecurity engineers, support the development and enhancement of Launch and Missile Defense systemsParticipate as part of an extended team of US government and supplier cybersecurity practitioners across multiple program locationsEnsure weapon system compliance with all contractually obligated cybersecurity standards and guidance, including but not limited to CNSSI 1253, DoD 8140, DoD 8510, and AFI 17-101Propose and design systems architecture changes with traceability to requirementsProvide Cyber implementation guidance and oversight across technical teamsDevelop and document technical standard engineering processes and procedures as neededParticipate in team reviews of technical requirements, design and implementation plans prior to deployment of computer systems, digital communications systems, networking devices, computer architectures, and computer security penetration tools and techniquesParticipate in cybersecurity assessment activities and review cybersecurity assessment methods, plans, procedures, and reportsProvide input to program milestones and metrics, adhering to cybersecurity-relevant plans and schedulesIdentify problems and research technical solutions to resolve these problemsApply analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of Cyber Security implementationSolve complex problems across disciplines in an Agile, DevSecOps environmentBasic Qualifications for a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer are:Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Software, or related STEM degree field and 2 years of related experience; 0 years of related experience with a master's degree; an additional 4 years of related experience beyond that required for Associate may be considered in lieu of degreeCertifications: Ability to obtain required certification within 6 months or less of hire, full DoD 8140 qualification in the IAT 2 roleClearance: Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance and ability to obtain SCI and SAP accessesPreferred Qualifications:IASAE level 3 certified (ISSEP, ISSAP, or CCSP)Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance with additional preference for SAP briefing on the Sentinel programSoftware Assurance experienceExperience with Systems Security Engineering as defined in NIST SP 800-160Expertise with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) and related tools such as DOORS and CameoKnowledge of Cyber Security Engineering practices, network technologies, DoD system development life cycles and methodologies, and insight into information technology infrastructure management/monitoring and applicationsExpertise with containerized software systems in accordance with DoD DevSecOps Reference DesignExperience innovating in Cybersecurity Accreditation processes and procedures in a multi-certification (Cyber, Nuclear Surety, etc.) context as part of a Digital Engineering EnvironmentExperience authoring and maintaining critical program documents such as Cybersecurity Strategies, System Security Plans, Continuous Monitoring Plans, Security Assessment Plans, etc.Experience in a Systems Engineering role with responsibilities in the planning, designing, implementation, testing, and delivery of a system with Cyber/Information Assurance requirementsExcellent communication (written and oral), negotiation, coordination and interpersonal skillsProven collaboration with program managers and customer representatives to meet program objectivesExperience managing and directing efforts following an Agile and DevSecOps process modelProven success analyzing, estimating, and implementing solutions to complex problems spanning multiple engineering disciplinesAbility to calmly negotiate challenging program requirements, strategies, and conflicting constraints among a large and diverse group of program stakeholders#J-18808-Ljbffr
