Fishkill, NY, United StatesDo not pass up this chance, apply quickly if your experience and skills match what is in the following description.Job Descriptiononsemi is currently seeking an energetic, highly organized Senior Director of IGBT Technology Development for the Power Solution Group (PSG) Silicon Technology Development organization, to develop and qualify novel leading-edge silicon IGBT technologies for industrial and automotive power conversion products.ResponsibilitiesBuild, manage, and lead a strong team of device and process integration engineers.Oversee and lead the team in development and qualification of new IGBT technologies and first products.Develop technology and product Roadmaps and project plans.Collaborate with key stakeholders and program sponsors.Lead and facilitate cross-functional decision making.Proactively and systematically manage risks and reuse best practices and lessons learned.Identify concerns of product reliability and manufacturability.Cooperate closely with Manufacturing, Operations, Business Units, Program Management, Product Line Management, and Quality and Reliability.Prepare and present collateral to communicate status and forecast to internal teams and key stakeholders.Summarize and present to Executive leaders.QualificationsMSc in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field; PhD preferred.15+ years of experience in high voltage power semiconductor devices and processing.Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Capable of leveraging and reusing best practices.Comfortable in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including listening, explaining, understanding, negotiating, persuading, and summarizing and presenting results.Able to manage conflicts and work with multinational and culturally diverse cross-functional team.Capable to manage multiple programs and priorities.Able to work independently with limited supervision.Proficient in systematic risk management and problem-solving methods such as FMEA, DOE, 8D, RCCA.Able to travel and flexible to attend meetings with teams in various time zones.About Usonsemi (Nasdaq: ON) is driving disruptive innovations to help build a better future.
