As part of a large and very busy HR team, this role offers a good deal of autonomy as well as the chance to build strong and effective relationships with key Stakeholders and Operational Managers.As HR BP for the DC, you will partner with the SMT on site to drive employee engagement and deliver the HR strategy. Your key responsibilities will include the following:Taking a lead on succession planning, talent, and performance management across the site.Developing and delivering proactive people plans.Advising operational managers on HR issues and working with them to improve their management capabilities.Identifying HR issues across the site and providing positive, business-focused solutions.Taking responsibility for the overall recruitment strategy of the site, including the recruitment of management-level colleagues with a strong emphasis on internal talent pathways.Managing a small team who deliver operational HR and Recruitment support to the site.To be a success in this role, you will have proven experience as an HR Business Partner within a large, fast-paced, high-volume distribution business. You will have the ability to influence and manage at all levels and be an inspirational leader. You will thrive in a fast-paced, growing, and progressive environment and be looking to add value every day.
