It's in our differences that we will find our inspiration to help people be happy from the inside out.THE ROLE: ASSOCIATE BRAND MANAGERReporting to the Senior Brand Manager, the Associate Brand Manager will serve as a key member of the Brand Strategy Team by owning business analytics - company scorecard development, ad-hoc based analyses, and supporting product, brand, and category research. They will be responsible for monitoring brand health across channels and helping determine how to maximize growth by analyzing competitive activity, consumer feedback and industry trends. This role will also have direct responsibility for and ownership of the OLLY Kids business - leading strategy, plan execution and pipeline development.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Own the company performance dashboard with support from Senior Brand Manager: track and analyze OLLY and category performance; monitor competition and new launches to assess impact to OLLY; identify business drivers, threats, and opportunities.Lead quarterly business review meetings in partnership with Brand Strategy team to share OLLY business performance.Partner with Marketing, Creative, and Product Development to bring ideas from concept through launch.Partner with Insights to monitor industry trends and research competitive products, brands, and categories.Collaborate with Sales Planning to identify distribution gaps and opportunities, merchandising opportunities, and conduct pricing analyses.Partner with Senior Brand Manager on business health diagnostics, action plan development, and creation of effective external customer facing materials as needed.Develop and lead the strategy and day-to-day management of Kids platform.THE CANDIDATEYou're not afraid to dive into data, interpreting numbers and translating them into actionable recommendations. You thrive in a collaborative environment and embody our values (Real Respect, Tactfully Transparent, Always Helpful, Tenacious Agility).CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED2-3 years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry working with household products sold across brick & mortar and e-commerce channels (exposure to Target, Walmart, D2C, and Amazon desired; experience in Brand and/or Nutrition a plus)Strong data analytics skills, including familiarity with syndicated and shopper data (e.g., IRI Unify, Nielsen, Target POL); expertise manipulating large data sets in Excel with pivot tables, vlookups, etc.; experience building and maintaining performance dashboards and crafting written reportsA true "Team Player" who is able to regularly give/receive effective feedback and can work cross-functionally to achieve resultsConnective thinker who can identify information relevant to a situation, extract meaningful insights from it, string those insights together into a cohesive, logical narrative, and build actionable recommendations that stem from that narrativeFoundational understanding of core business disciplines, including finance, operations, sales and marketingStrong written and verbal communication, presentation development, and storytelling skillsWhat To Expect During The Interview ProcessInitial video screen with a member of our Talent teamRound 1: Conversation with the Hiring Manager + 1-2 conversations with other Ollies on the teamRound 2: 2-3 conversations with team or cross functional OlliesFinal Round: Homework*At OLLY, our final round is called Homework.
