This individual contributor position will focus on promoting Keyport products to national wholesale, retail, and foodservice accounts. Reporting directly to the President, the Director of Sales will act as a customer advocate while ensuring that sales targets are met.Who We Are:Keyport is dedicated to delivering the highest quality wild-caught seafood. Our products, including premium King crab, Golden King crab, and Snow crab, are sourced using responsible fishing practices and are available through top-tier restaurants and retailers nationwide. As a family-owned company founded in 1997, Keyport LLC is built on five generations of innovation, strong supplier relationships, and an unwavering commitment to quality.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Build and maintain relationships with current customers to drive sales, increase account revenue, and meet profitability targets.Prospect and cold-call potential new customers; deliver presentations, negotiate pricing, and manage the onboarding process.Collaborate with internal departments (Credit, Sales Support, Production Management, Logistics) to ensure efficient and accurate sales transactions.Meet and exceed company sales growth and margin objectives by promoting and selling company products (Branded/Private Label & Commodity/Value Added) through grocery/mass merchandise retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and foodservice accounts.Manage and develop a base of mid-tier and small accounts crucial to driving daily sales activities, in addition to focusing on major and national accounts.Evaluate and identify new product opportunities specific to each account.Represent customer feedback and present sales reports to management on a weekly basis.Travel required 10-15% of the time.Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:Education: College degree or equivalent experience.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of sales experience with national retail grocery chains or wholesale food accounts; seafood knowledge is a plus.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Strong time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.Professional demeanor for interacting with internal and external contacts.Proficiency in using CRM tools.Job Type: Full-timeIf interested, send your resume to jobs@#J-18808-Ljbffr
