Rooted in world-class design at their core, this individual needs to be someone who constantly asks "what if?". The Design Director will need to be prolific, conceptual, curious, professional, and insightful. They will help the studio become the world's most provocative maker of branded everything. This individual will be a strong leader with a focus on prioritizing the work "” always pushing to make ideas (and teams) as good as they can be. We like people who push boundaries and test the edges. We need this person to take big swings, not play it safe. Ability to work in motion and 3D encouraged.Lead projects into uncharted creative territories with a rational and innovative mindset.Lead and direct creative vision across multiple projects with senior talent supervision.Lead and mentor team members into projects "” help each member make the best work of their careers.Assist in management of team needs into projects.Maintain Stink Studios work culture, respecting timelines, processes, and work procedures.What you'll doWork closely with the Executive Creative Director to make world-class work.Must be a hands-on designer and not just delegating work.Lead and work with the design team to set the craft and aesthetic expectations for the studio and guide the creative discipline (brand/digital/motion).Concept and create visual solutions to a large variety of problems ranging from graphic design and brand systems to advertising campaigns large and small.Interpret customer demands and find disruptive creative solutions that can show the unique characteristics of a brand, interpreting the client's brief, thinking the creative solutions through conceptualization.Be responsible for delivery on time and on quality involved in the day-to-day executions.Maintain a consistent level of craft across multiple types of projects.Translate design craft to make it meaningful to clients.Expose the creative team and broader studio to new trends and techniques.Constantly have a pulse on how our team can use AI as a tool, and learn/teach the team along the way.Experience8+ years in significant design roles with a breadth of client work.#J-18808-Ljbffr
