Full job descriptionHave you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.Position summaryDuties and responsibilities include, however are not limited to the following:Ensures that all clients are receiving appropriate services as contracted with placing agency.Represents Advantage Care Group at all client court proceedings.Addresses all client grievancesWorks in conjunction with Program Manager and Residential Coordinator to ensure that all client based programs are working at an optimal levelPosition QualificationsRequired: Bachelors Degree in Human Services or a minimum of 60 credits from an accredited college/ university and 6 years experience.Experience in CASSP system and/or residential care preferred.All candidates must pass a required background check as outlined in The Background Check Policy in regards to Clearances and Certifications mandated by the State Department of Human Services, Federal guidelines, NSOR and possess a valid Driver's License.Knowledge of computers and word processing software such as MS Word, Excel, and Office.Working ConditionsWorking environment is generally favorable; there is the potential for adverse and/or hazardous events related to working with the youth. Advantage Care Group is located in a private community setting.Physical DemandsWalking or standing 2/3 of the workday. Sufficient mobility, coordination and body strength to safely restrain a child or adolescent. Ability to administer First Aid and CPR.Special Training / SkillsThorough understanding of age, cognition, and developmental stages of school age children. Effective communication skills and ability to quickly form trusting relationships with child/adolescent population.
