In this role, the Operational Language Analyst performs tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations.RESPONSIBILITIESTranslating and/or transcribing complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken materialGisting complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken materialScanning and sorting/categorizing foreign language materialsPerforming quality control review of translations and/or transcripts of complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material.REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEMust possess an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraphPerformance at Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in audio translation and/or text translation from the required language into idiomatic, standard American English or 3 in listening and/or reading on the DLPT.Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or equivalent.Equivalent of ten (10) years full-time combined cryptologic language processing, related language, and/or related cryptologic experience.In lieu of the Bachelor's Degree an additional four (4) years of directly related, applied, practical work experience may be substituted.Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative ActionATS is committed to a program of equal employment opportunity without regard to race, color, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, sex, pregnancy, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, religion/creed, hairstyles and hair textures, handicap/disability, genetic information/history, military/veteran status, or any other characteristic or condition protected by federal, state or local law.
