Role Summary Leads multiple departments through a subordinate management team within a region and is responsible for identifying opportunities for incremental pipeline growth. Directs managers responsible for teams selling the organization's products and services to regional, complex clients and/or client retention and account growth. May continue to sell to/advise a limited portfolio of key clients or to apply significant industry experience to open new revenue streams and obtain meetings with high-value, exclusive clients. Responsible for regional achievement of sales targets. Manages the human and financial resources of the assigned area. Maintains both an internal and external reputation for having significant expertise in the industry. Responsibilities: Contributes to the strategic objectives for sales and relationship management within the assigned region. Ensures objectives link directly to Business unit goals. Identifies areas of focus for achieving incremental growth and implements protocols to guide Sales and Relationship Management teams in integrating these focus areas into their sales and relationship management strategies. Serves on business unit governance committees to ensure the effective, consistent coordination of sales and relationship management activities and tactics presented to clients/prospects throughout the firm. Provides input on how to coordinate with various internal partners to target new business and service existing business. Ensures a seamless sales and client experience across the business. Serves as an escalation point for highly critical service issues or roadblocks; shepherds issues through to resolution. Reviews trends on escalated service issues and recommended process changes. Evaluates information and determines process changes to be adopted. Keeps leadership informed of critical service issues with clients and how they will be/have been resolved. Tracks and reports on sales strategy/relationship plan and results for the function. Develops and reports on function metrics and dashboards; delivers reporting to leadership. Contributes to the development of the key performance metrics for the function and/or region. Coaches and guides team to improve the execution of the relationship plan and achieving short-term and long-term goals. Develops the strategic direction for pursuing and initiating contact and managing ongoing contact with sales targets on a regional and/or global basis. Liaises and strategizes with cross-segment leaders to identify business growth opportunities while aligning with functional and business unit strategies. Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops a management team, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to build and sustain a high-performing, strategically workforce within their assigned departments. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND 12+ years of total relevant work experience and 5+ years of management experience FINRA Requirements FINRA licenses are required and will be supported for this role. Work Flexibility This role is eligible for full time remote work. Regional Requirements: Base salary range: $139,000 - $251,000 Annual USD for the locations of: California, New York, Colorado, and the State of Washington. Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
