Title: Editorial Specialist IILearn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.Location: Hybrid Onsite T/W/Th Los Angeles, CA 90071; remote M/FDuration: 2 years with strong potential to extend open endedShift: M-F 8 am-5 pm PSTExperienced Marketing Editorial Specialists Needed. We are searching for exceptional editorial specialists with experience working in the financial or pharma industries. The ideal candidate brings three plus years of experience working with marketing teams across the financial services sector or pharma sector.Job DutiesWriting ability, but the writing experience we're looking for is more closely aligned with copy writing or web writing than long-form journalism.Writing assignments include: alt text, email invitations, newsletters, web promos, social posts and paid media, captioning our webinars.Review existing evergreen articles to determine what content needs to be updated and recommend those changes.Create a writer's guide for how to produce our shareholder letters (includes interviewing people, documenting the process, creating a final deliverable).Other Editorial Specialist responsibilities include proofing, updating content, working with writers, and research.Provide data updates and markups on a variety of documents, which will require pulling data from various systems and sources, or receiving data from various internal teams.Update and/or identify changes to information in materials that require quarterly/annual updates, including, but not limited to, statistical information and changes in investment and risk disclosures.Assist writers in the research phase of a project.Assist writers with compiling and organizing approved backup materials for use in fact-checking and recordkeeping.Assist in adding required disclosure to materials using in-house disclosure tool.Copy, edit and abridge content to fit sizing requirements as necessary.Access various databases and systems to retrieve current data in order to update a variety of materials, working closely with designers and writers.Work with writers to understand the types and sources of data for projects.Work with writers and other business partners to clean up and prepare transcripts for publishing.Help ensure changes to text do not affect the overall message.Proofread and fact-check materials.Verify statistics and facts against internal and external sources.Rewrite content for audience versions and/or various channels (e.g., email, social).Work as a liaison with the agencies and managed services, checking their work.Support writers within creative agencies, if any, by being the liaison for Legal review.#J-18808-Ljbffr
