We are on the hunt for an experienced Media Buying Director who thrives on developing client goals and driving performance forward. We're looking for an experienced Media professional with a proven track record in managing large scale campaigns and teams within the Search ecosystem. If you're a strategic thinker who revels in data and performance, let's talk.This position is responsible for overseeing a team of Media Buyers on the Paid Search team tasked with development and stewardship of Paid Search media buys, ensuring they are executed accurately and efficiently. At times this individual will also be responsible for stepping in to help manage these day-to-day tasks for certain account(s). These channels include but are not limited to Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Amazon, Yelp, and YouTube. The Director is responsible for ensuring the team has strong delivery upon campaign objectives for all clients. In addition, this individual will work closely with the VP, Media Buying on best practices, team development and growth.Responsibilities:All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.Helps lead strategy development and oversees the team in campaign management and optimization within various platforms, such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Amazon, Yelp, etc.Reviews team work ensuring optimal buys are being designed in terms of cost efficiency, forecasting, account segmentation, bid management, goal delivery and vendor agreements.Identifies new opportunities to supplement goals and formulate strategies to capitalize on new opportunities.Builds relationships and attends ongoing communications with media representatives, helping lead large-scale discussions.Integral activation lead on key client(s) presentations.Manage, review, and perform daily account responsibilities for client portfolio.Updates VP, Media Buying on status of current accounts on an ongoing basis and elevates issues in a timely manner.Responsible for reviewing the teams campaign tracking set-up and implementation before launch of a campaign, with support from Ad Operations.Works closely with planning counterpart on client deliverables and expectations.Reviews all client reporting before being shared with internal and client teams. Helping lead presentations to key client(s), when needed.Ensures strict adherence by team to client budgets while meeting client objectives.Assist development of new business presentations, as needed.Escalation point with finance team members to resolve media billing issues.Actively identifies opportunities to share-out media wins and education within the larger team and agency.Stays current on all media trends and opportunities in the industry.Supports VP, Media Buying in developing team process and best practices and ensuring talent is being fostered within the team.Other duties/responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.Qualifications:8+ years of Paid Search experience requiredExtensive knowledge and prior use of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and AmazonKnowledge and prior use of bid management softwareExperience managing a team of buyers and/or having direct reportsExperience managing multiple account needs across categoriesStrong organizational and mathematical skillsProficiency with verbal and digital communicationAbility to multi-task and deliver work on-time for set deadlinesAbility to work effectively with a variety of internal teams and business groups, including Creative, Account Management, Finance and Project ManagementAbility to communicate effectively within a team environment, with outside media reps as well as with current clientsMust be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be comfortable making decisionsBarkleyOKRP's Commitment to Diversity & InclusionWe believe being radically diverse and inclusive is the key to becoming one of the world's great creative idea companies.
