The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting and coordinating a variety of human resource activities for hourly and salaried employees in the areas of staffing, training, employee relations, organizational development, legal compliance, wellness and community involvement, as well as driving and implementing continuous improvement actions within the HR function.Read all the information about this opportunity carefully, then use the application button below to send your CV and application.Client DetailsOur client is a Manufacturing / Tech Company based in Boston, Massachusetts who is looking for a productive, accountable and precise individual to join their Human Resources team as an HR Generalist to support with all admin and HR functions.DescriptionPartner with front line managers to provide HR guidance and direction to ensure consistent administration of policies and procedures across a facility.In conjunction with the HR Leader, work with business units to develop talent and manage employee relations issues.Support admin and office duties as needed.Assisting with all onboarding duties such as drug screens, verified 1-9, first day onboarding, meet and greet, coordinating onboarding schedule.Provide guidance and coaching to employees on employee relations issues and other HR functional areas (benefits, payroll, time keeping issues and leave management, etc.). Maintain employee records and data integrity.Partner with managers to identify staffing needs & work with Talent Acquisition to fill open positions.Support the selection process by conducting interviews.Support hiring manager in developing employment offers in alignment with organizational policies.Support organization with administering or conducting a variety of internal training courses.Foster an environment that promotes the company's goals, philosophies and core values.Partner with Safety, Health & Environmental team to support a strong safety culture.Support other associates and departments in achieving facility/corporate Responsible Care goals, commit to continually improve the management system.Execute special projects and other duties as assigned.ProfileBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in HR or closely related field.Minimum three (3) years of related HR experience preferably with experience in manufacturing.General knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and regulations at our manufacturing locations.Interpersonal communication skills: Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility within and throughout all levels of the organization; provide ongoing coaching and feedback, manage through conflict, and strive for continuous improvement.Strong managerial courage and ability to work through resistance.Strong drive for results is essential, with self-directed leadership, requiring minimal supervision & being proactive.Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.Strong analytical ability and experience incorporating data/metrics in decision making.Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.Job OfferAn amazing opportunity to go Temporary to Permanent.Hybrid work schedule, 3 days in office and 2 days work from home.Medical and dental benefits from day 1.Competitive starting salary.Opportunity to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
