Find your future with us.Job SummaryAs a Satellite Support Equipment Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing software applications for electrical test equipment, (Hardware In the Loop Systems) HILS, and other EGSE to validate our flight hardware and satellite systems. You will work closely with other engineering teams, (Assembly, Test, and Launch Ops) ATLO, program management, and manufacturing to understand component and satellite design to develop software applications for test equipment, HILS, and EGSE on schedule and within budget.This position's internal job code is Elect Design and Analysis Engr. Our team is currently hiring for a level 3.ResponsibilitiesDesign HILs or EGSE software that fully validate embedded systems per a given set of requirementsCoordinate with programs or products on schedules, risks, and budgets for HILS and EGSE software designsCoordinate with systems engineering on software architecture / design and fully document applications in MBSE (Model Based System Engineering) ToolsDesign software to control, monitor, and log the test sets, EGSE, and HILSHelp develop and maintain DevSecOps pipelines to analyze, review, test, revision control, monitor, and deploy software applications to hardwareProvide ongoing support for deployed software applicationsProvide Mentorship to junior SSE Software team membersCreate standards for good practices in designing and executing on SSE SoftwareTake ownership of projects with minimal guidance from supervisors or program managersOther job duties assigned as requiredMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computing Engineering, or equivalent working experienceMethodical design, testing, and troubleshooting capabilitiesExperience developing and documenting software and firmware in LabVIEW, Python, or C/C++Must be versatile and able to perform and manage multiple tasks concurrentlyIdeally more than 5 years of work experience with Bachelor's degree, or more than 3 years with Master's degreePreferred QualificationsActive TS/SCI clearanceExperience with National Instruments hardwareCertified LabVIEW Developer (CLD)Experience with TestStandExperience with MBSEExperience with satellite environmental test programs per NASA and MIL-STD requirementsExperience with continuous integration / continuous delivery software applications including GitLabExperience with virtualization and containerization software applicationsExperience with early life-cycle satellite engineering activities, spacecraft integration and test, and launch operationsSummary Pay-RangeLevel 3: $104,550 - $153,750Benefits and PerksMillennium Space Systems offers a very competitive benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, and 401k plan.Before applying, please note:Millennium is DDTC-registered, ITAR-compliant Company.
