We are seeking a litigation associate with 3-5 years of experience, as well as two associates that are eager to gain experience; recent Bar passers are encouraged to apply.Ready to apply Before you do, make sure to read all the details pertaining to this job in the description below.Our ideal litigation candidate would have experience handling all aspects of discovery, taking/defending depositions, pleadings, attending hearings, drafting/responding to motions, and otherwise preparing cases for trial. Labor and employment law experience, particularly in the area of wage and hour class actions, is a plus, but not required. We will also train two associates in all aspects of labor and employment law, which is consistently one of the largest growth areas in California.Successful applicants can expect to work on a wide range of matters. Our attorneys practice before all federal and state courts in California and before various administrative agencies such as the National Labor Relations Board, California Agricultural Labor Relations Board, and Cal/OSHA Appeals Board, among others. Associates can expect significant file responsibility, direct client interaction with some of the biggest names in agriculture, and courtroom experience.We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package, including generous vacation, medical insurance with dependent coverage fully paid, a 401(k) plan with an employer match, payment of MCLE, other professional development, California Bar dues, and cell phone reimbursement. There is no minimum hourly billable requirement, which is meant to encourage a healthy work-life balance and facilitate chances for associates to engage in learning opportunities and client development.
