Embrace the chance to drive change with M3 USA.Due to our continued growth, we are hiring for a Senior Software Engineer (Coldfusion) to join M3 Global Research, an M3 company.Job DescriptionMission:The Coldfusion Engineer is responsible for developing internal and external data-driven web-based applications based on specifications from a project manager. This individual will also work with the project manager and QA Analyst to debug the code, put the code into production, maintain the code during its complete lifecycle, as well as go into an existing code base, understand the inter-workings of that code, troubleshoot bugs, and add new features to that code. The applications will be developed in ColdFusion, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and built on an Oracle database. This individual will work closely with the senior web application engineer as well as the other technology professionals and project stakeholders.Develop new features in ColdFusion / MS SQL ServerDevelop front-end in React front-end of a ColdFusion driven backendMaintain current documentation for all applications supported by the developerWrite and debug Microsoft SQL Server stored proceduresTroubleshoot and resolve issues, problems, and errors encountered across our web properties, internal applications, and systems as reported or experienced.Provide expertise to influence project, initiative, and maintenance technical direction during discovery, planning, and implementation stages.QualificationsThis position is player/coach and we are targeting someone with 2+ years of experience managing a small team of developers.Bachelor's degree or equivalency in a computer science related field required3 years of experience in a similar role working on web-based products.Strong knowledge of ColdFusion requiredMVC Framework knowledge very beneficialStrong knowledge of SQL requiredStrong knowledge of JavaScript beneficialKnowledge and experience with other languages such as PL/SQL, Java/JSP, jQuery, HTML 4/5, CSS, PHP, Ruby, beneficial.Familiarity with Bootstrap, React, Angular frontend frameworks beneficialFamiliarity with Oracle and/or other relational database experienceSource control/GitFamiliar with AWS and containers such as Kubernetes.Knowledge of development for mobile devices beneficialTeamwork orientedExceptional ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects and prioritiesIngenuity and the willingness to learn new techniquesSuperior problem-solving ability; an analytical mindsetExcellent interpersonal communication skills - both verbal and writtenAdditional InformationBenefits:A career opportunity with M3USA offers competitive wages, and benefits such as:Health and DentalLife, Accident and Disability InsurancePrescription PlanFlexible Spending Account401k Plan and MatchPaid Holidays and VacationSick Days and Personal DayM3 reserves the right to change this job description to meet the business needs of the organization.#LI-JM1#J-18808-LjbffrRemote working/work at home options are available for this role.
