RoadSafe is seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to oversee core product sales, rentals, and services within Ohio.Check all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.The ideal candidate will have 5 years of outside sales experience and a proven track record in established markets.This role focuses on managing sales and marketing strategies, meeting revenue targets, growing the sales pipeline, and expanding the customer base.Success will be measured through revenue, profitability, order conversion, pipeline development, and customer engagement.Key Responsibilities: Achieve sales growth and meet targets through effective sales management.Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and strengthen market presence.Engage with Engineering Consultants and DOT officials to ensure product standards align with market requirements.Oversee contract opportunities with DOT and local roadway agencies related to company offerings.Plan and execute grassroots marketing campaigns to enter new markets.Provide ongoing training to customers to enhance product knowledge and customer service.Submit weekly reports highlighting sales data, pipeline status, competitive analysis, and key insights.Prepare data for monthly sales review and outlook meetings.Collaborate with Senior Regional Account Manager and Branch Manager to manage rental assets and inventory for timely service.Monitor existing product lines for improvements and propose new products for growth.Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote the brand.Product Focus: The Sales Manager will manage a range of products, including but not limited to crash cushions, truck-mounted attenuators, TMA truck rentals and sales, and roadside delineators.Skill Requirements: Active listening and effective communication Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities Excellent time management and organization Service-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction Persuasive communication and social perceptiveness Ability to monitor performance and take corrective action when needed Creative problem-solving and negotiation skills Job Duties: Communicate with external stakeholders such as customers, government officials, and state departments.Prioritize and plan work effectively to meet goals.Analyze information and make informed decisions to resolve issues.Collaborate with team members through various communication channels.Utilize computer systems to process data and manage information.Build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships within and outside the organization.Stay updated on industry trends and apply new knowledge to the role.Gather and analyze relevant information to support decision-making.Travel within the state as required for sales and business development activities.Assist with the installation, relocation, and removal of work zone products weighing over 50 pounds EOE Statement We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.All qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
