The Director of Campaign is a critical team member in supporting the efforts of a campaign at the highest level of giving. Working alongside the Assistant General Manager, Development and reporting to Senior Director, Major Gifts, this role supports the Campaign Cabinet in identifying, cultivating, and closing donors capable of making 8 and 9 figure campaign gifts. This role is key in creating and tracking progress against goals, providing strong support through donor strategy and Moves Management, and concepting and executing a once-in-a-generation suite of stewardship benefits for those donors at the top of the giving pyramid.If you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description.Primary ResponsibilitiesSupport the efforts of Campaign Cabinet members who are identifying, cultivating, and soliciting high net worth donors for cornerstone gifts. Track progress and next steps through Tessitura.Work alongside the Development Operations team to prepare appropriate research and dossiers required for upcoming prospect meetings and to identify prospects for 8 and 9 figure gifts.Run campaign meetings and prepare relevant materials. Record and share our next steps.Work alongside the Special Events team and Campaign Cabinet members to create bespoke cultivation opportunities that are discreet and exclusive.Manage a portfolio of 50-75 prospects assigned to the campaign cabinet; recommend strategies and best pathways to giving, ensuring the ongoing solicitation of annual support. Track Moves in Tessitura.Track Campaign pipeline and revenue progress through a suite of relationship and contributed revenue dashboards in Tessitura. Report to Capital Campaign.Prepare a suite of campaign materials including presentation materials and customized proposals. Draft correspondence for Campaign Cabinet members, as requested.Create and execute a suite of benefits, including naming opportunities, for donors at each giving level.Arrange donor entertaining, including invitations, ticketing, and reservations; and provide donor support with ticket orders, seat improvements, and exchanges.Liaise with Board members and high-level donors as needed.Skills and Qualifications5-7 years of fundraising and development experience required.Demonstrated success in a capital campaign environment, donor stewardship, and assisting in closing major/principal gifts required.Applied experience managing all financial aspects of Capital Campaign including revenue, budgets, reporting tools, and best practices for tracking campaign and major/principal gifts moves management necessary.Previous experience working with and managing members of the Board.Strong command of philanthropic best practices and Moves Management model.Ability to write proposals and all donor communications essential.Proficient with all basic computer programs, including Outlook and Microsoft Office. Experience with donor databases, particularly Tessitura, a plus.Detail-oriented and capable of managing several project deadlines to successful completion.Superior interpersonal and verbal communication skills.Ability to exercise excellent judgment working with high-level donors, volunteers, and Board members.Must be passionate about the performing arts, with knowledge of music and/or opera a plus.Physical DemandsAbility to work well with all personality types.Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work well under pressure.Willingness to work occasional nights and additional weekend hours as needed.BENEFITSPay Range: $140,000 - $150,000 AnnualFull Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits.#J-18808-Ljbffr
