In this position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the financial services industry, collaborating with senior executives and leading teams to deliver impactful results.Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership: Oversee multiple client engagements, providing strategic direction and ensuring exceptional project delivery.Client Relationship Management: Develop and cultivate long-term relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and thought partner.Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leading proposal development and participating in client pitches.Team Management: Lead and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages professional growth.Thought Leadership: Contribute to the development of innovative Financial Services and FinTech insights and solutions that address the sectors most pressing challenges.Practice Building: Play an active role in shaping the future of the L.E.K. Financial Services Practice, contributing to recruiting, training, and knowledge sharing initiatives.Qualifications:Proven Track-record: 5+ years of experience (8+ for Senior Manager) in management consulting, financial services, or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional results.Financial Services/FinTech experience: In-depth sector experience exhibited through working within a specific financial services industry (e.g., banking, payments, wealth, financial technology, or insurance), or across multiple financial services/FinTech domains, along with an understanding of the dynamics, key trends, challenges, and opportunities facing the sector presently.Exceptional Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and quantitative capabilities, with a history of generating actionable insights and driving data-driven decision-making.Outstanding Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to a variety of audiences.Collaborative Leadership Style: Ability to inspire and motivate teams, build consensus, and drive collaboration across diverse stakeholders.Deep Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the financial services industry, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities.WHY L.E.K.?The Engagement Manager and Senior Manager roles at L.E.K. are unique from other firms in the following ways:Financial Services exposure and practice expansion: Unique opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding projects in the financial services industry, while making a real impact in expanding practice capabilities collaborating with a team of talented professionals who are enthusiastic about delivering exceptional results for our Financial Services and FinTech clients.Breadth of experiences: Our practice focuses on a broad range of strategy engagements, both organic and inorganic. Managers and Senior Managers typically work on 1 to 2 projects in conjunction with client/business development providing greater exposure across clients and their strategic issues, as well as faster development of business acumen.Fun, stimulating work environment: L.E.K. teams spend more time in their home office relative to teams at peer firms, and we pride ourselves on a vibrant social culture, including case team events, office parties, non-profit involvement, and much more.International exposure: Approximately one-third of L.E.K. projects involve an international component, and our Financial Services team maintains a global footprint, which allows Managers and Senior Managers to work on international case teams or, if they choose, to relocate to international offices on either a temporary or a full-time basis.Upward mobility: L.E.K. is a meritocracy with an entrepreneurial culture and frequent feedback. We rapidly progress responsibility to accelerate our team's development.Leading compensation: L.E.K. maintains a total compensation package that is extremely competitive in the industry.L.E.K. Consulting offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience as well as a performance bonus, profit sharing, and other benefits. The total potential compensation at these levels ranges from $390,000 (Manager) to $418,000 (Sr. Manager). The realization of performance bonuses and profit sharing are influenced by both individual and firm performance. Broader firm benefits include 401K, health/dental/vision insurance, paid vacation and holidays, sick leave and short and long term disability insurance.International candidates will be considered.
