Hybrid: remote and in person hybrid schedule with up to 25% of weekly hours designated for attendance at in-person events In-person events include meetings at Strive's office in Wilmington, DE, local programming, and local and national networking events Travel: Occasional long-distance and overnight travel Salary Range: $40,000-$50,000 Job Summary: Strive seeks a mission-driven, strategic and creative leader capable of building Strive's impact through all marketing channels. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Operations, the Marketing & Communications Manager will collaborate with individuals across the organization to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy to meet revenue goals, build robust marketing campaigns in support of all fundraising, programmatic and business development initiatives and be responsible for brand efficacy. Duties and Responsibilities: Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from idea generation to execution to grow database of contacts, new sales and build organization relationships Experiment with, analyze, implement and monitor a variety of digital marketing approaches: content creation, content curation, paid advertisement, events, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, webinars and more Produce valuable and engaging written content that engages and converts our target audience including newsletters, press releases, blogs Measure and report on performance of all marketing efforts; consistently seeking to improve upon findings Manage Strive's website to ensure clear communication of Strive's work, history and team. Manage Strive's CRM (Hubspot) to maintain up to date contact lists and records and execute outreach campaigns. Qualifications: The candidate should possess a passion for education, particularly in the area of social-emotional learning and character development. Proven success in Marketing, Communications, and Administration related positions Proven success developing marketing strategy 2+ years work experience required Experience developing insightful, creative written and graphic content Strong communication skills, written, verbal and visual Strong ability as a project manager, leading campaigns and projects from start to finish Teaching or coaching experience a plus Action oriented - strong ability and desire to take initiative; entrepreneurial spirit Experience in Adobe and/or Canva (or similar design tools) Experience in HubSpot, WordPress and/or Elementor (or similar platforms) a plus Strive asks that employees utilize their personal laptop for Strive-related work, although it is not a requirement. If you do not have a laptop, please communicate this and we will lend you a laptop for work-related tasks. Strive's foundational program, Sports Challenge , develops character-driven leaders on and off the field, applying the rigor of sports training to the practice of leadership. We bring together a diverse group of high school student-athletes to play soccer, basketball, or lacrosse at a competitive level. This highly demanding, yet nurturing, program offers a unique 1:5 coach:athlete ratio. Sports Challenge takes place over five days, where student-athletes learn and work together, immersed in a growth-mindset culture.
