Passion for our mission and vision is required!Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead risk and opportunity management for one or more rocket engine programsIdentify relationships between risks to ensure effective risk mitigationCoach teams in characterizing program risks and developing mitigation plansSupport the development and documentation of mitigation plansMonitor progress of mitigation plans throughout the program lifecycleLead risk review boards at integrated product team and program levelsFacilitate discussions and seek to understand the purpose behind identified risksCollaborate with risk managers and key stakeholders to improve processes, tools, and trainingImprove metrics and reporting systems to provide valuable insights into risk postureContribute to the development and sustainment of a strong risk management cultureMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant technical fieldMinimum of 5 years of system development/integration experience, preferably in aerospace or complicated technical systems, including some aspect of new product developmentFamiliarity with structured risk management plans and risk monitoringStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels, including external customersExcellent technical writing and presentation skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to earn trust, maintain positive relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusionMust be a US citizen or national, US permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the US as a refugee or granted asylumPreferred Qualifications:Minimum of 2+ years of direct Risk Management experienceExperience with Confluence & JIRAExperience with TableauCompensation Range for CA applicants is $120,060.00-$168,084.00; WA applicants is $120,060.00-$168,084.00.
