In this senior-level role, you will be the architect of our PR strategy, ensuring that our messages, values, and goals resonate powerfully across diverse platforms and audiences.The hiring team is open to accepting applications for both Director and Senior Director levels. Selected leveling will be based on overall experience and qualifications.ABOUT THIS TEAMAs Director of Public Relations (PR) at BOLD, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones, ensuring our global brand voice is unified, impactful, and consistent for 8 brands across 7 international markets. This is an opportunity to lead within a fast-paced, dynamic environment where your strategic insights will shape the future of our brand within the US, LATAM, EMEA, & APAC. Our goal is to drive revenue for each of our brands within their geographical areas and expand our reach to our target markets.WHAT YOU'LL DODevelop and implement comprehensive, customized PR strategies that align with BOLD's mission, values, and business goals, providing leadership on company-wide DPR efforts.Align DPR efforts with SEO, content, and other marketing channels to maximize impact.Define and communicate DPR metrics that align with company objectives and establish cross-team KPIs and processes.Oversee the development and execution of a link-building strategy to secure high-quality backlinks supporting SEO objectives.Lead a team of PR professionals, providing training, strategic guidance, and support for brand-specific campaigns while managing media relations efforts.Secure necessary budget, staffing, and technology resources for DPR execution, and regularly report on project value to executive leadership.Develop and maintain media and influencer relationships, overseeing creative pitches, media list building, and story angle development.Manage ongoing media outreach and assess the effectiveness of media relations strategies with precise metrics and reporting.Serve as the organization's spokesperson in crisis situations, developing and executing crisis communication plans.Ensure all PR content and communication plans align with BOLD's brand message and values while continuously refining strategies to enhance online presence.WHAT YOU'LL NEEDBachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.10-15 years of experience in public relations, with at least 5 years in a senior or director-level role.Proven track record in developing and executing successful PR strategies that maintain and enhance an organization's reputation.Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a team of PR professionals.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.Expertise in media relations, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement.Skilled in delivering clear, impactful presentations to executives, teams, and external audiences, ensuring alignment and understanding at all levels.Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities.Ability to work independently or collaboratively based on the circumstances.Aptitude for creative problem-solving with strong attention to detail.Effective listening skills with a data-driven mindset.Curiosity and an eagerness to continuously learn and grow.Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.BENEFITSOUTSTANDING COMPENSATIONCompetitive salary.Bi-annual bonus.401(k) plan with match.Equity in company.Flexible spending accounts (health, dependent care).Internet and home office reimbursement.100% FULL HEALTH BENEFITSMedical, dental, and vision (optional plans for your family).Life & long term disability insurance (optional).Mental health support and resources.Wellness reimbursement (gym, health apps, etc.).Pet Insurance (optional).FLEXIBLE TIME AWAYFlexible PTO.Sick time policy.Observed holidays.1-week PTO for the December holidays.ELIGIBILITYELIGIBLE HIRING LOCATIONSThis position is 100% remote, work from home.BOLD is able to hire full-time residents of the following U.S. States & Territories: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington.#LI-RemoteABOUT BOLD As an established global organization (17 years and counting), BOLD helps people find jobs.
