Job ID: 2653318 | Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. - B02Have you got the right qualifications and skills for this job Find out below, and hit apply to be considered.MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLECompany: AMAZON DEVELOPMENT CENTER U.S., INC.Position Title: Designer IILocation: East Palo Alto, CaliforniaPosition Responsibilities:Create, establish, and monitor the visual tone and expression throughout the AWS Documentation digital properties: public site, product console, mobile, and more.Create and evolve various visual systems that scale across hundreds of use cases and employees, such as diagram systems, iconography, screencapture styling, onsite banners, branding imagery, and more.Be the liaison and representative for Visual Design on Documentation for cross-org visual committees.Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.Contribute and create visual assets to grow the core libraries (icons, illustrations, diagrams, and more).Be part of a multidisciplinary team of designers, researchers, and design technologists.Collaborate with UX designers, other visual designers, content managers, editors, technical writers, and engineers to maintain a high quality bar for design.Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, data, customer feedback, user research, and technical constraints/opportunities.Quickly and thoroughly create workflows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize new product initiatives and features.Simplify and distill complex processes into intuitive and elegant UIs.Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications, working closely with developers to see your design through to deployment.Own innovative iterative design, working closely with product and tech partners from inception through implementation.Mentor and lead other designers.Telecommuting benefits available.40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $132,500/year to $185,000/yearBASIC QUALIFICATIONSPosition Requirements:A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Advertising, or a related discipline and 3 years of experience in art direction, visual design, UX design, or related experience.3 years of experience with digital design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, Figma, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.3 years of experience defining and/or working from brand and visual style guides.3 years of experience in Visual, UX and front-end web design processes and best practices.Experience in best practices for typography, layout, color theory, data visualization, brand identity, and visual communication.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPlease see job description and the position requirements above.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
