Responsibilities include teaching general curriculum undergraduate and graduate-level special education courses, supervising student field work, and engaging in curriculum and accreditation activities.Responsibilities:TeachingTeaches general curriculum undergraduate and graduate-level special education courses;Supervises student field work, practicum, and internship experiences;Participates in curriculum and accreditation activities.ResearchMaintains an active line of research and external funding;Provides expertise and scholarly leadership in high incidence disabilities.College Service ResponsibilitiesEngages with faculty and staff to advance program initiatives;Supports adjunct faculty;Participates in service at the division and college level.Required Qualifications:Doctoral degree in Special Education with a focus on high incidence disabilities;Publication record in support of students with high incidence disabilities;Minimum of three years of K-12 teaching experience in high incidence disabilities;Demonstrated instructional versatility in research, teaching methods, and collaboration.Preferred Qualifications:Valid teaching license in special education;Evidence of successful teaching in higher education;Expertise in math methods and/or assessment practices;Willingness to use technology effectively in instruction.Instructions to Applicants:For full consideration, apply for Special Education Faculty (Assistant/Associate Professor) at Include three professional references, a Cover Letter/Letter of Intent, and a CV.Posting Open Date: September 30, 2024For Full Consideration, Apply by: February 21, 2025Open Until Filled: Yes#J-18808-Ljbffr
