BNY Mellon | Pershing is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Product Marketing to lead our product marketing strategy, execution, and overall go-to-market efforts.In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:Product Marketing Strategy Leadership: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive product marketing strategies that align with Pershing's business objectives and market dynamics within the financial services industry. Define product positioning, messaging frameworks, and go-to-market strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth for Pershing's solutions.Messaging Development and Alignment: Develop strategic messaging frameworks that articulate the unique value propositions of Pershing's products and solutions to target audiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing, to ensure messaging alignment and consistency across all marketing channels and campaigns.Go-to-Market Planning and Execution: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the team responsible for go-to-market planning and execution. Drive the development of integrated marketing plans and launch strategies for new products, features, and enhancements. Leverage market insights and customer feedback to optimize go-to-market tactics and maximize product adoption and revenue.Content Strategy and Development: Develop and execute content strategies that support product marketing initiatives across various channels and formats, including digital, print, and events. Drive the creation of high-impact marketing collateral, sales enablement materials, and thought leadership content to educate and engage target audiences throughout the buyer's journey.Competitive Analysis and Differentiation: Conduct in-depth competitive analysis and market research to identify market trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for differentiation. Develop strategies to position Pershing's products and solutions effectively against competitors and communicate key differentiators to target customers.Customer Insights and Feedback: Gather and analyze customer insights, feedback, and market data to inform product marketing strategies and decision-making. Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to understand customer needs, pain points, and use cases, and incorporate feedback into product positioning and messaging.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including product management, sales, marketing, and executive leadership, to align product marketing efforts with business priorities and objectives. Serve as a strategic advisor on product marketing matters, driving consensus and buy-in across the organization.Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing product marketing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team to drive excellence in product marketing strategy and execution.To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field; master's degree preferred.15+ years of experience in product marketing, with a strong track record of success in the financial services industry.Expertise in developing and executing comprehensive product marketing strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market planning.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.Deep understanding of marketing principles, customer insights, and emerging trends in product marketing within financial services.Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and excellence in product marketing strategy and execution.At BNY, our culture speaks for itself. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $119,000 and $221,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
