DescriptionReady to apply Before you do, make sure to read all the details pertaining to this job in the description below.The Event Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of external events held at designated facilities on MVC campus. This role ensures compliance with safety and operational protocols and provides exceptional customer service to event organizers, participants, and attendees. The Event Site Supervisor acts as the primary point of contact for event coordination, managing any issues that arise and ensuring that the facility is maintained to the highest standards.Essential Job Duties:Maintain the site during events, ensuring smooth operation.Enforce rules and safety precautions of the facility/location.Assist event participants and respond to questions and concerns.Support facility staff with event setup and cleanup.Ensure safety awareness and a positive work environment.Notify the Campus Rentals Manager of issues related to facilities, event participants, or spectators.Notify the Campus Rentals Manager of needed supplies and equipment.Be the first to arrive and the last to leave, ensuring all post-event procedures are completed.Greet visitors and direct them to the event location as needed.Introduce yourself to event organizers and key personnel, ensuring they know you are the point of contact.Inspect the facility, lobby, and seating areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.Other duties as assigned by the Campus Rentals Manager.RequirementsAny combination of education and/or relevant professional experience providing the necessary skills and knowledge for successful job performance is acceptable:Strong background in event management, with experience in coordinating and supervising large gatherings.Knowledge of event rules, protocols, and standard safety practices.Must be 18 years of age or older.Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, event staff, and the public, with a courteous and tactful approach.Ability to supervise and maintain control of participants, organizers, and attendees.Physical Requirements:Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, and/or squat for prolonged periods.Work outside and inside, over multiple terrains, and in varying weather conditions, as needed.#J-18808-Ljbffr
