The position provides architecture assistance for design and construction projects using knowledge of design principles and practices to interpret, organize, coordinate, communicate and execute.The annual salary range for this position is $120,000.00 - $150,000.00. Essential skills and responsibilitiesExperience providing professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projectsExperience performing as a consultant in the establishment of design standards and criteria for construction projectsExperience providing on-site field survey measurements and verificationExperience preparing space and stacking plansExperience with computer-assisted design software such as Revit, and Sketch UpRequired Skills Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Proficient written and verbal communication skillsStrong work ethic. Willing to do what it takes to get the job doneAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamRequired ExperienceUS Government Secret security clearanceBachelor's degree in architecture10 years' experience as Architect in commercial/government office building design and constructionPreferred ExperienceUS Government Top Secret security clearanceExperience working with governmental agencies at the federal, city, county and state levels20 years' experience as Architect in commercial/government office building design and constructionWorking ConditionsWork is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking.
