About the team: Internal Communications supports leadership's commitment to informing, inspiring and engaging the people of Goldman Sachs. Our key focus areas include understanding our audience; creating and distributing engaging content; providing consulting services to our divisions to help them with their messaging needs; governing the firm's internal communications channels; and measuring our reach. RESPONSIBILITIES Member of the team contributing to the following global Internal Communications priorities, working in partnership with all team members and with oversight from head of Internal Communications: Communications planning: Work collaboratively with teams across the firm to manage key global, cross-divisional communications plans to inform and engage our people on Goldman Sachs' priorities. Channel and platform management: Help oversee investments in - and the evolution of - our internal communications channels, including through an ongoing partnership with Engineering. Content creation and distribution: Develop impactful messaging - from To Alls to talking points - on a wide range of topics and issues, and identify communications channels for distribution to drive engagement. Consulting and advisory: Partner with leaders and communicators across the firm to provide effective internal communications guidance across a wide range of scenarios and situations - and help manage the Internal Communications Network comprising representatives from across divisions and regions. Event management: Support the rollout of Executive Office-sponsored events and programs for our people, including partner townhalls. Governance: Provide guidance to more junior team members on protocol and processes, and edit, review and approve communications according to firmwide style. Measurement: Derive insights and recommendations from ongoing monitoring of analytics, creation of metrics-driven reports. Support and enhance key team processes: Play a key role in vendor relationship management, business continuity planning, as well as adhering to and enhancing risk management processes. Additional projects as they arise: Support for cross-functional communications initiatives. Qualifications Process-oriented and meticulous; highest attention to detail. Proven writing and editorial experience. Must be able to take ideas from inception and carry them through delivery. Ability to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines. Ability to cultivate relationships across the firm's divisions and business lines. Excellent multi-tasking, analytical, communication and organizational skills. Demonstrates good judgment and sound problem-solving skills. Experience coaching and developing more junior team members. Ability to work in a team environment a must. Enthusiastic - high energy and a 'can do' approach. An understanding and appreciation for the firm's culture. High degree of integrity and confidentiality. Learn more: Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $125000-$250000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
