As Senior Project Manager, you will provide overall program management support and reporting associated with the end-to-end lifecycle of off-net network solutions.The position is a critical part of the Engineering and Construction Support Team that will collaboratively manage complex and long-duration projects and develop PM tools. This role has C Suite exposure and requires strong business acumen, strong data analytics, the ability to define and implement groundbreaking ideas, to work within a fast-moving environment to rapidly deliver support and services that have a broad business impact, and a desire to have an industry-wide impact.As a Senior Project Manager in Engineering & Construction, your responsibilities will include:Lead support and advisor to the Senior Manager of Engineering & Construction and lead cross-functional teams.Set up program structure for the larger team to follow.Oversee development and monitoring tools, reports, and dashboards to improve efficiencies in the 3rd Party Circuit inventory.Track milestone activities for highly complex projects/programs across multiple lines of business both internal and external.Create, deploy, and maintain requirements from various organization swim lanes for tools consisting of Smartsheet, Excel, and flexibility to embrace other system software.Cross integration of systems to harvest data in providing analytics and real-time support to the program management team.Develop and implement inventory audit process with the goal of optimizing circuit savings.Create vendor performance scorecard and track compliance to process.Ensure compliance requirements are adhered to for all regulatory obligations.Ensure projects meet network readiness dates within budget allotments.Create presentations to support leadership and C-Suite teams.Collaborate with network leadership and business domain leadership to design and implement future state processes that achieve program goals and end-to-end process engineering objectives.WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:10+ years telecommunication experience.Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical work experience.Ability to facilitate project creation and management in standard PM tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence, JIRA, etc.).Experience with Telecom Network Design & inventory systems (IQGeo, GIS, SmallWorld, TIRKS, TruOps iConectiv).Usability & understanding of data visualization tools (PowerBI, Power Apps).Ability to create complex Methods & Procedures.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Expert knowledge in Microsoft (More specifically PowerPoint & Excel), Adobe, and related systems.Ability to analyze data to drive strategic business decisions is key.Ability to build cohesive relationships with multiple departments through training, development, and accountability.BONUS POINTS FOR:Master's degree and/or related work experience.Knowledgeable of SAP, LeaseNet, Costar, JRM, WMS, NDS, APO, FT3, ARMOR, MARTENS, O2, E2, TIRKS.Experience with Vendor equipment (Calix, Cisco, Infinera, Ciena).Experience with Carrier Relations.WHY JOIN US?We aspire to contemporary ways of working.Recognized as a Top Workplace by the Charlotte Observer, Brightspeed HQ is located on the 7th floor of the new Vantage South End - East Tower in Charlotte, NC.
