The Intel and Cyber Division is assembling a team of network engineers, systems engineers, Unified Communications Engineers, and Integration Engineers, change management specialists, information assurance professionals, and procurement personnel knowledgeable in SCRM processes to support a program that provides critical network capabilities. To be successful, you must be able to rapidly adapt and learn how to operate the front and back end of new products and processes.This position is contingent upon contract awardResponsibilities:The duties and responsibilities of the Configuration Management Specialist include, but are not limited to, the following:Develop and maintain system CM processes, procedures, and documentation in support of customer requirements. Development of internal configuration standards and training others to use CM tools may also be required.Track and control changes to hardware, software, and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.Collaborate with project management and development teams to ensure proper change processes.Coordinate, record, and document activities of the Configuration Control Board.Implement, manage, and maintain the customer's CM database.Conduct audits to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.Provide status reports of all ongoing configuration management (CM) activities to the customer and management.Develop and maintain CM tools and support configuration identification, control, reporting, release, and delivery of products and systems.Exercise creative thinking and ideation to advance business performance and deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet customer and changing business needs.Stay current on CM processes to provide input for selection and identification of hardware and software configuration end items that meet customer standards.Required Qualifications:Experience implementing configuration management practices in an IT engineering and sustainment organization.Experience utilizing CMDB technology and tools.Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.Exceptional attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.Ability to travel up to 25%.Clearance Required:Must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI or TS with the ability to acquire SCI.Minimum Education:High School Diploma.Minimum Years of Experience:10+ years of related experience.Preferred:Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field.Certification in CMPIC Configuration Management or CM2 Professional Configuration Management.Familiarity with ITIL.PMP.#J-18808-Ljbffr
