We are looking for an experienced Director of Sales to drive the sales strategies and achieve revenue targets. As a Director of Sales, you will manage key accounts and oversee the accounts management in all activities for London properties.Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.Family-style management and a caring and considerate approach to our staff are the philosophies at our three Hotels in London, part of Starhotels Collezione.The Collezione consists of the group's top thirteen luxury five- and four-star hotels, located in the heart of Florence, London, Milan, Paris, New York, Rome, Saturnia, Siena, Trieste, Venice, and Vicenza. Each hotel has a distinct charm, embodying the local culture while sharing the Italian spirit, creativity, passion, and high level of service that encapsulate the whole group.Key accountabilities include:Responsible for sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the London sales team.Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement.Work closely with the Hotel Managers to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.Implement enabling technologies to sales teams.Coordinate training delivery to the sales team.Assist in the preparation of the budget and ensure the activities to be undertaken are implemented within cost constraints.Implement sales activities according to the Plan of Action of Starhotels sales Office to achieve budgeted goals.Review market analysis, determine client needs, occupancy potential for our hotels, rates desired, etc.Foster a co-operative and harmonious working climate conducive to maximum team morale and productivity.General requirements:Desirable experience in the luxury hospitality sector.Minimum 3 years' experience in the same role.Strong analytical skills to analyze sales data, forecast trends, and identify opportunities for process improvements.Proven experience in leading sales teams, managing quotas, and ensuring consistent implementation of sales initiatives.Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with other departments and stakeholders within the firm.Competence in sales budgeting, planning, and working with financial departments to manage sales incentive compensation programs.Commitment to continuous process improvement and maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency in sales planning efforts.Benefits:For the right people, we are committed to offering great career development opportunities, competitive salary, and an array of benefits including but not exclusively:Private Medical InsuranceExtra holidays for each year of service (max 5 days)Up to 20% of BonusService ChargeWorkplace PensionDiscounted stay & F&B among the groupDiscounts on local businessesIn line with The Requirements Of The Asylum And Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
