THE ROLE OF A COREPOWER YOGA STUDIO COORDINATOR As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you live your power by supporting the world class CorePower Yoga studio experience including coordinating studio operations and holding the studio to the highest health and safety standards. In alignment with our Core Values, you work alongside the Studio Manager to deliver results and sustained growth towards all current company and studio-level goals. The SC role is a part time, entry level position which will allow you to learn the business and develop the skillset to operate a studio. Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience - Act as an ambassador of the CPY Core Values at all times and consistently inspire these values in others - Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio level goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, and programming enrollment - Commit to 18 hours in-studio per week of operations coordination and teaching (if certified), to include health and safety protocol execution, front desk guidance, and team support - Must be flexible with schedule availability within the hourly commitment in service of the studio and team - Serve as the studio-level point of contact for students and staff if/when Studio Manager is not present - Support maintaining an appropriate level of studio supply inventory so that all provisions and amenities are available for students at all times including cleanliness inventory, locker room amenities, towels, programming materials, etc. - Consistently engage and know your studio community; greet students by name, serve as an ambassador of yoga both inside and outside of the studio, and spend quality time at the front desk fostering community Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety and Cleanliness Protocol in the Studio - Uphold high standards for the studio and when on duty, ensure that the physical studio space meets the high CPY standards of cleanliness and functionality including a pristine and safe environment, optimum heat and humidity, inspiring music, and clean and clutter-free surroundings in all areas of the studio - Follow and execute all current Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines when working, cleaning, and training others within the studio - Coordinate and hold full studio team and students accountable to studio zone capacities. Assist the Studio Manager in staffing appropriately to maintain current capacity standards - Support communication around Smart Health Protocol to students upon entry and throughout their visit at CPY - Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET) including cleaning the studio, stocking amenities, and ensuring the CPY cleanliness protocol is followed at all times while on duty in the studio - When scheduled at the studio, support coordination of the Studio Experience Team (SET) including shift scheduling, stepping in for no call/no shows, and training - Train new Studio Experience Team members on cleanliness protocol and role expectations - Act as a liaison between the Studio Manager and the teaching and SET teams in training, communicating, and coordinating studio operational systems including but not limited to: - Point of Sales System (POS); understand and efficiently navigate POS to sign students in, sell packages and memberships, and explore and correct problems with student accounts when at the desk - Online Reservation System; support administrative follow up of late cancel fees, waitlist, student support, etc. - Subbing Application; support training and usage for teaching team - HRIS Application; support training and usage for teaching and SET team - Help Desk; Submit facilities tickets when on duty and communicate follow up needs to Studio Manager Teaching Schedule - Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of 4 classes per week of aligned CPY classes and support the studio through subbing additional classes as needed SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core Values; Attitude of Gratitude, Team Player, Live our Mission, and Delivers Results - Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills are required - Experience in Customer Service required - Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour program is preferred - Yoga Sculpt teacher training is preferred - Familiar and comfortable in studio systems such as the HRIS, intranet, point of sale systems, company scheduling and payroll systems, etc. - Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles and at different levels of seniority - Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines - Proven self-starter with ability to take on new projects with enthusiasm - Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel - Ability to take initiative and prioritize - College (BA/BS) preferred THE FINE PRINT - Commit to 18 hours in studio per week (including teaching, operations admin, and studio coordination) and no more than 29 hours if directed by leadership to extend beyond 18 - Availability must match the needs of the business and leadership zig-zag schedules - morning, evening, weekend and some holiday availability and flexibility required - Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs. - If certified to teach, must be able to step in to teach class with little to no notice while scheduled in the studio WHO WE ARE Founded in 2002 in Denver, CO, we create intensity for the body and presence for the mind.
