Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleWe are looking for a visionary leader who will join our team as the Director Product Segment - to drive the responsibilities of the Hyperscaler/Data Center product segment. This includes engaging stakeholders to align on clear, actionable product strategy and priorities for the Hyperscaler/Data Center segment to deliver optimal results for customers and Lumen. You will be accountable for consistently identifying opportunities for improvement and incorporating new product features to best meet the needs of customers in the Hyperscaler/Data Center segment.The Main ResponsibilitiesServe total accountability for the success and growth of the Hyperscaler/Data Center product segment, including owning and driving a strong P&L.Collaborate with product teams, sales, marketing, service delivery, and other key ecosystem partners to develop requirements, prioritize enhancements, and drive best in class product experience for customers.Responsible for product solution creation and collaborating with cross-functional partners like GTM team on how to "productize" the solution.Work closely with SVP Product Segments to keep all key stakeholders aligned.Define, monitor, and improve all key product segments metrics including but not limited to adoption, customer net promoter score (NPS), volume of leads, and more.Prioritize the product roadmap for the Hyperscaler/Data Center segment in line with market research, customer feedback, and ecosystem partners' capacity.Lead the identification of and capitalization on emerging opportunities within the Hyperscaler & Data Center segment, fostering innovation to maintain a competitive edge and drive future revenue growth through creative and leading solution launches.Ensure clear communication between the Hyperscaler & Data Center segment and GTM & Business Operations functions for seamless working relationships.Identify revenue growth opportunities within the segment and communicate potential overlap in opportunities with other segment leaders to drive alignment.What We Look For in a CandidateBachelor's degree or higher in Business or a related field.7+ years of leadership or experience in a large-scale product and/or segment leadership role, the Hyperscaler/Data Center product segment is a bonus.Proven track record of launching successful products in the Hyperscaler/Data Center segment through a blend of technical, creative, business, and marketing skills.Superior communication, leadership, team building, and people management skills.Ability to prioritize among competing opportunities, balance customer needs with business priorities, and clearly articulate the rationale behind decisions.Experience and familiarity with Dark Fiber, Colo VPN, Internet on-Demand, IP VPN, Wavelengths, and ethernet products as they relate to Hyperscaler/Data Centers.Experience as a general manager.CompensationThe starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location.
