The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.Responsibilities: Responsible for establishing and implementing a standard approach to valuation across the BusinessFacilitate and provides decision context for any major decisionFacilitate discussion and guide the Global Leadership Group and Business leaders through the decision-making process, ensuring the development of actionable insights to address complex challengesWork closely with functional leadership to gather assumptions, validate information, socialize decisions and assess opportunities leveraging external perspectives alongside their deep understanding of the CSL business; this will include BD&L and M&A decisions, new venture decisions within the Therapeutic Areas, market entry strategy decisions, CAPEX and investment decisionsLeads strategic alignment workshops with project teams to identify key options and strategic implicationsDevelops or guides comprehensive valuation analyses to understand and communicate the sensitivities and drivers of valueApplies advanced decision analytics methodologies, including predictive analytics and modeling, to derive insights that inform project, portfolio, and corporate decisions within the R&D portfolio, Commercial and Leadership teamsLead or consult on process improvement initiatives, strategic projects, and AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goalsPartner effectively with senior leaders to enhance metrics and benchmarks measuring quality of decision making, risk and value generatedWork closely with cross-functional project teams to ensure decision analytics methodologies are aligned with project goals and organizational objectives Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in relevant discipline; Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent preferred15+ years working in the area of decision sciences to include direct experience in applied decision analysis, simulation, and/or data scienceExpertise in extracting, modeling, and presenting data to build actionable insights, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts related to decision analytics tools and capabilities to non-technical staffExperience in handling and modeling complex financial and commercial figures, with in-depth knowledge of forecasting and valuation methodologiesStrong cross-functional matrix leadership experience, with the ability to establish strong partnerships without formal authority and work effectively in a high matrix organization as a collaborative team playerAbility to work in a cross-functional, cross-cultural matrixed environmentCustomer focus requiring a robust understanding of the customer's requirements and needsStrong (situational) leadership skillsClear communicator, expert facilitatorOur Benefits CSL employees that work at least 30 hours per week are eligible for benefits effective day 1.
