Investment firms may also perform other regulated activities of other PFS according to the above-mentioned law.All candidates should make sure to read the following job description and information carefully before applying.Role & ResponsibilitiesThe assessment of the business models of a portfolio of investment companies and the evaluation, where applicable in conjunction with internal specialists, of the risks to which the investment companies are exposed.The assessment of the regulatory compliance of investment firms based on prudential reporting and reports from internal control functions, from the approved statutory auditor and from all other documents submitted in accordance with regulatory provisions.Legal research and resolution of legal issues in relation to the regulations applicable to investment firms.The implementation of the legal powers of the CSSF, the management of enforcement procedures, including procedural aspects, in relation to investment firms.The contribution, in conjunction with the department's internal specialists, to work on AML/CTF issues.The contribution to the constant development of expertise in regulatory matters (MiFID, IFD/IFR, MICAR, ESG, etc.) as well as the processing of requests linked to the practical application of these regulations to investment companies.Your ProfileUniversity degree (Bac +4/+5) in law (preferably with a focus on financial law or economic law) or in economics, finance or management.For applicants with a legal background, the possession of the certificate of complementary training in Luxembourg law (CCDL) and the end of judicial training examination or a PhD in law is considered as an advantage.A first work experience in a renowned local law firm, in the legal service of a reputable professional of the financial sector, in the field of audit, compliance of credit institutions or other professionals of the financial sector or in a supervisory authority is an advantage.Good knowledge of the regulatory framework (financial sector law, European directives and regulations, CSSF regulations and circulars) as well as of the rules of administrative law applicable to enforcement procedures.Basic knowledge of financial analysis or data mining is considered an asset.Excellent writing, analytical and synthesis skills.Perfect proficiency in written and spoken French and English. Knowledge of German and Luxembourgish will be considered as an advantage.Good communication skills, ability to integrate a team and to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.Good organizational and follow-up skills, rigour and ability to work independently.The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee ("employé de l'Etat") under a permanent contract.
