You have solid corporate generalist experience across a range of legal matters, including both transactional and non-transactional corporate work.You're agile and able to turn your hand to a variety of matters, providing practical and clear advice to stakeholders of all levels across the business.You have excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, including a non-hierarchical attitude, collegiality and a cooperative spirit.You have a good understanding of legal processes and of what makes an internal function successful.You are comfortable taking ownership and managing certain tasks without close supervision, including those outside of your comfort zone.You thrive in a fast-paced environment, and you're motivated by the opportunity to tackle different problems and evolve processes to increase efficiency.What You'll Do: You will provide legal advice and counsel on Eutelsat-OneWeb's corporate legal work (both transactional and non-transactional). You will also use your broad and agile skillset to support on a variety of legal and business matters involving Eutelsat-OneWeb's Finance, Accounting, Tax, Human Resources, Strategy, and Regulatory teams. In particular, your role will cover the matters set out below:Providing legal support for Eutelsat-OneWeb's corporate transactional work, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, structuring, and investments.With the support of the team's Corporate Paralegal and local service providers, supporting with non-transactional corporate work including managing the Group's global corporate structure (including intercompany funding and service arrangements, entity management, company secretarial and governance matters), and support with corporate governance, Board, and shareholder activities.Providing legal support with the establishment of the Group's financing arrangements (both intra-group and third-party finance), and monitoring ongoing compliance with all ongoing finance arrangements.Be an integral part of Eutelsat-OneWeb's transactional work and projects - the willingness to immerse yourself in the business and collaborate with stakeholders globally is essential.Work with business counterparts globally to identify and provide advice regarding legal risks and issues.Provide legal support to other functions in the business as and when required, including IP, insurance, employment, commercial, procurement, and ground infrastructure activities.What it Takes:A UK qualified corporate / commercial lawyer, ideally with a mix of both private practice and in-house experience. As a guide, we would expect someone who has at least 7 years' PQE.Whilst not a prerequisite, French language skills are desirable.Experience working in an international company with exposure to foreign business practices, or experience of working on matters involving overseas jurisdictions, is desirable.Strong organisational skills and a very good understanding of prioritisation.Critical thinking, problem-solving, and pragmatic judgment, particularly in determining the significance of legal matters and effectively measuring and balancing legal and business risks.A good team spirit together with the ability to work autonomously.Where You'll Be: You will be joining us in our offices in White City, London, UK.
