A prestigious international law firm is seeking an experienced associate to join the Labor, Employment and Workplace Safety (LEWS) practice in their dynamic Portland office. The ideal candidate will have 6 plus years of litigation experience on a wide range of employment issues including wage & hour and single plaintiff discrimination/harassment matters.Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.The candidate will also draft and review employment policies and employment-related documents such as offer letters, employment agreements, and separation agreements. Additionally, the candidate would work on the labor and employment aspects of business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions. Prior experience with traditional labor relations is a plus but not required. The candidate must be licensed in Oregon or eligible for licensure in Oregon, with Washington and CA (with PAGA experience) licenses being a plus.Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong academic credentials are required, along with excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service.Base Compensation: $230,000- $290,000 / year#J-18808-Ljbffr
