This role involves creating and maintaining printed and digital materials, assisting in program coordination, and handling various administrative tasks. The Support Specialist acts as a key resource for internal teams, ensuring efficient communication and the timely completion of projects.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Print & Digital MaterialsDesign flyers, brochures, newsletters, and other promotional materials using design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).Ensure all printed and digital materials adhere to brand guidelines.Collaborate with the Development Manager and other management to update content regularly.Assist with social media management.Program SupportAssist program coordinators and managers in the planning, scheduling, and execution of events, workshops, and initiatives.Coordinate logistics, including materials preparation, venue setup, and registration management.Maintain accurate records of program activities and participant engagement.Administrative DutiesProvide general administrative support such as answering phones, responding to emails, and scheduling meetings.Assist in preparing reports, data entry, and maintaining project databases.Coordinate internal communications between departments.Volunteer/Donor AssistanceServe as the first point of contact for volunteer inquiries.Offer technical assistance or support related to program services or donors as needed.Event Planning & CoordinationSupport the planning and execution of internal and external events.Assist with outreach efforts to promote events and programs.Other Duties as AssignedStay current local events with the recovery community.Support cross-departmental projects or tasks as needed.Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTSAssociate's in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree a plus.1-3 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, program assistance, non-profit or related fields.Experience with design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) preferred.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Familiarity with design and layout software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Photoshop) is a plus.Experience with diverse populations and the recovery community.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Must be 18 or older.Be able to complete I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.Be able to complete a background check (prior convictions may not necessarily disqualify an applicant).This job description is a general overview and may be subject to change based on the organization's needs and priorities.WORKING CONDITIONSFull-time position, typically 40 hours per week, with occasional evening or weekend work as needed.Work is performed in an office environment with regular use of standard office equipment.BENEFITSVoices of Hope offers a very competitive benefits package for all full-time employees including:Accrued PTO (up to 80 hours the first year)Self-Care time off9 paid holidaysCommunity Service time offMedical (100% premium paid by employer for employee)Dental (100% premium paid by employer for employee)Vision(100% premium paid by employer for employee)Life Insurance (100% premium paid by employer for employee)On the Job trainingCompensation details: 18.5-18.5 Hourly WagePIc6a4d185ee30-36310-35834098
