Some evening and Saturday hours may be required. SUMMARY Family Service League is seeking a full-time, Master's-levelCounselor for our Mental Health Clinic based out of Bay Shore. The Counselor will provide evaluations, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention to children, families, and adults with a full range of DSM diagnoses in a clinic setting, including co-occurring disorders. The Counselor must have at least 1 year of experience in a behavioral health setting. QUALIFICATIONSMaster's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field required. LMHC, LMSW, LMFT or related licensed, clinical degree required.At least 1 year of experience working in a behavioral health setting required; clinic experience required. Prior experience diagnosing using the DSM V and experience with behavioral/therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and adults preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records, required.
