The RM will have active involvement with the government senior leadership for each of their assigned clients, responsible for monitoring, interpreting and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), proactively market a full range of U.S. Bank products and services, and will have bottom-line responsibility for the profitability, retention and expansion of each account within the government portfolio.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree, or equivalent work experienceSeven to ten years of relationship management experiencePreferred Skills/ExperienceDeep knowledge of federal government clientsVeteran or military experience and understandingTransportation, fleet and government experienceStrong sales, relationship management and business development abilities specifically with government agenciesExtensive knowledge of CPS products and servicesBroad knowledge of bank products and services that result in successfully capitalizing on all opportunities to expand relationships and sales of bank's productsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively with individuals, groups, and vendors across the company to manage customer relationshipsWell-developed written communication and verbal presentation skillsFinancial and business acumen and experience negotiating and working with executive level leadersSupply chain and/or transportation backgroundUnderstanding of government contracts and their unique nature and requirementsProficient use of Microsoft Office toolsAnalytical understanding balanced with the ability to present value to customers in an easy to understand way to innovate programs and relationships for mutual benefitAbility to build relationships internally and cross functionality as One U.S. BankBenefits:Our approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members' whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work.
