The candidate will be instrumental in enhancing our infrastructure monitoring and performance capabilities. The position requires no travel and is open to fully remote candidates.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain monitoring solutions using Grafana and Prometheus to ensure optimal system performance.Oversee the integration of monitoring tools with existing infrastructure to provide real-time insights.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for monitoring tools to ensure minimal downtime.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement monitoring requirements.Lead the creation of dashboards and alerts in Grafana to provide actionable insights.Ensure the scalability and reliability of monitoring solutions to support business growth.Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization of monitoring tools.Implement best practices for monitoring and alerting to enhance system reliability.Provide training and support to team members on the use of monitoring tools.Develop and maintain documentation for monitoring processes and configurations.Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to improve system resilience.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for monitoring and security.Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance monitoring capabilities.QualificationsPossess a minimum of 7 years of experience in infrastructure development and monitoring.Demonstrate expertise in Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring and alerting.Have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Show experience in integrating monitoring tools with various infrastructure components.Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills.Have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving performance issues.Certifications RequiredCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Grafana Certified AssociateSalary and Other Compensation:This position is accepting applications until 11/24/2024.The annual salary for this position is between [$52,000] - [$107,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.Benefits : Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Medical/Dental/Vision/Life InsurancePaid holidays plus Paid Time Off401(k) plan and contributionsLong-term/Short-term DisabilityPaid Parental LeaveEmployee Stock Purchase PlanDisclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
