A great place to work!!Full insurance plan (medical, dental, vision, life, long- & short-term disability, ETC.); 401k; Excellent time off package, including 7 paid holidays per year + 2 personal days + 1 week city sick leave (CSL) + generous PTO plan Schedule: Monday - Friday, with NO nights, NO weekends, NO holidays, and NO callEasy location & parking Job Summary: The Procedure Room RN at EPSC is responsible for all patient care in the Procedure Room and working with the physician to deliver a successful procedure and outcome for the patient. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Managing procedure room(s) to ensure the rooms are prepped and ready for patients, including room turnovers, stocking supplies, cleaning, etc.Administers medication as ordered by physician, following the Moderate Sedation policySafely monitors and documents care of patients undergoing Moderate Sedation in accordance with policy and procedure and guidelines of care.Assures all documentation on medical records is accurate and complete at all timesSupports and assists the physicians with care of the patient throughout the procedurePlans, implements, and evaluates patient care needs in the procedure or endoscopy suite, including assessing patient's condition pre-procedure and post-procedure recoveryMaintains proper care and handling of specimensRecognizes emergency situations and assists in corrective action, including but not limited to ACLS protocolParticipates in the development of and maintains established policies, procedures, and objectives; quality improvement; safety; environmental and infection prevention programsRecognizes and reports hazardous equipmentEvaluate the patient's progress toward attaining outcomesTransfer care as appropriateUses nursing judgment in decision-makingPerforms effectively in stressful situations to fulfill position responsibilitiesInforms Clinical Director / OR Manager of applicable day-to-day situationsPerforms other duties as assigned Who We AreAt USPI, we create relationships that create better care.
