We are seeking aSenior Analyst, Sales Support to join our Financial Markets team at Standard Chartered Bank in New York. The successful candidate will be working with the Head, Markets Operational CRM as well as other team members to drive origination, develop strong client relationships and be seen as an expert in Financial Markets by internal and external stakeholders.Scroll down to find an indepth overview of this job, and what is expected of candidates Make an application by clicking on the Apply button.As a Sales Support Senior Analyst within the Markets Client Sales Solution Group, you are part of the Client Solutions Groups that provides trade support, pre-trade and post trade support to the Financial Markets sales desks and clients globally.We appreciate self-driven candidates who will be working closely with the wider Financial Markets team, coverage and product partners to develop an understanding of the competitive landscape and identify prospective partners who can address customer needs and accelerate growth. We believe that a willingness to acquire new skills will contribute to success in this role.Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with our sales colleagues, providing proactive support that increases our client-focused approach. Serve as the first point of contact for addressing queries and requests from clients, showcasing our commitment to delivering superior service. Acts as the first point of contact for sales for all transaction level operational queries Manages a diverse range of sales support tasks,across trade, pre-trade and post trade. Collaborate across the client Sales Solutions Groups, Sales, Trading and Business Management COO to execute new business initiatives - ie. New product enablement, design new controls and processes. Ensure all queries are addressed in a timely and concise. manner Able to identify and to bring together the relevant resources to address the issues and brainstorm solutions. Be proactive and maintain a risk-oriented mindset to ensure escalations are alerted in a timely fashion to mitigate potential risk for our stakeholders. Ensure Sales credits year-to-date contributions are timely and reflected accurately Actively seek opportunities to improve global consistency, work closely with the Hubs (GBS) and other regions to close gaps and standardise processes. Maintain a never-settle attitude to continuously identify, resolve, and deliver process improvement. Constantly adapt to the ever-changing environment with regulatory obligations and infrastructure enhancements Co-ordinate and provide support for client testing for new products / changes. Actively monitor data from management information system (MIS) and generate data-driven decisions to ultimately reduce re-occurring issues.Qualifications 3-5years' experience in Financial Markets. Financial Markets Products as well as Financial Markets Operations knowledge. Fully understand the Financial Market Operations (FMO) business strategy and leadership expectations. Expertise in prioritising queries regarding how to handle any premium clients. Demonstrated knowledge in objective judgement when dealing with conflicts due to prioritisation. Experience in managing complex client service scenarios as well as knowledge in how to identify process to resolve. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package.
